Home Ownership Education
 

-Class offered once a month 

-Class time runs from 9:00-3:00

-All classes take place on Saturdays in collaboration with the University of Wisconsin- Parkside.

 

-The Home Buyers course is taught directly from the class manual titled “Realizing the American Dream."

 

Topics of discussion are as follows:

·        Are you ready to buy a home

·        Managing your money

·        Understanding credit

·        Getting a mortgage loan

·        Shopping for a home

·        Keeping your home and managing your finances

 

-All participants must pay a $20.00 fee to attend

-All participants must attend the entire seminar to qualify for your certificate

 

*Neighborhood Housing Services of Southeast WI, Inc. has been certified as a HUD-approved counseling agency. Participating in this class could qualify you for special financing options.
